Data recovery in Nehru Place
Files recovered from failing hard disks, SSDs, formatted or corrupted drives, pen drives and laptops that no longer boot.
The first rule of data recovery is to stop using the drive. Every write reduces what can be recovered. Bring the laptop or the drive in as it is, and we assess it before any charge.
Logical faults, such as accidental formatting, deleted files, corrupted partitions and Windows failing to boot, are recovered at the counter. Drives with physical failure are assessed and, where needed, referred for clean-room work with a clear explanation of cost and odds.
Files recovered from formatted and deleted partitions on hard disks, SSDs and USB drives.
Drive removed and data copied to a new drive or external disk before any OS repair.
File system repair and raw recovery where the drive is still readable.
Sector-by-sector imaging of a drive that is clicking or slowing, then recovery from the image.
Recovered data moved to a new SSD or laptop and the machine set up.
Common questions
Can data be recovered from a dead laptop?
Usually yes: the drive is removed and read separately. If the drive itself has failed, recovery depends on the fault and is assessed first.
Is there a charge if nothing is recovered?
Assessment is done first and the rate is agreed on what can actually be recovered.
Can you recover data from an SSD?
Logical faults on SSDs are recoverable. Physically failed SSDs are harder and are assessed case by case.
