Can one broken key be fixed without replacing the keyboard?
Sometimes, if the keycap and hinge are available. If the switch under it is dead, the keyboard is replaced.
Why is my laptop typing on its own?
Ghost typing is usually a failing keyboard or liquid damage. It is diagnosed before quoting.
